Exploring 'Connections' in Science Week

Science week has been superb! On Thursday the Reception, Year 1 and 2 children completed a carousel of Science/Stem activities based on the topic connections. In Reception, our activity was to make a human energy circuit. For the experiment the children had to all hold hands with each other, in a circle, as well as hold onto the device (called a Human Energy Stick). We all observed that when the circuit was closed, the lights and sound would come on. If the circuit was broken, or open, the lights and sound would instantly stop.
