Sustainable Toys in Year 2

Investigating the use of plastics in toys

This week Year 2 have been investigating the properties of toys and materials used to make them. They spent time comparing the toys from the past and present-day toys and noticed that a lot of toys nowadays are made from plastic, which is a man-made material made in factories. The pupils then discussed the negatives of using plastic and that we need to use more recyclable and natural resources.
