Year 2 put their maths and english to the test

Year 2 bake up a maths and english treat!

This week has been exciting and busy. We made sandwiches and baked cupcakes, while doing so was fantastic fun. We were also linking it to our English writing genre (how to write good instructions) and our Maths topic on measuring mass. We followed the recipe precisely and measured our ingredients with great care. We have taken part in a lot of collaborative work this week.
