Outdoor space at Warlingham Park

Learning to grow in nature. With our wonderful countryside location and beautiful outdoor environment, Forest School is a natural and important part of life here at Warlingham Park School.

We are very lucky to be surrounded by fields and greenery and have access to the Forest at the back of our school. Forest School sessions start in Pre-School and take place every week. They are linked to our curriculum topics, and let the children learn and discover in the outside world. They also learn team building skills as they undertake group work, often in our outdoor classroom.

Our outdoor space includes a large field, where children enjoy playing football, being free or creating games. Every class has its own allotment in our garden where they can grow produce, and we even have our own flock of chickens, who are cared for by the pupils.
